Meet Jennifer Tapia, DNP, PMHNP-BC

I provide psychiatric medication management and supportive mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and practical, with a focus on helping patients feel heard, understood, and involved in their treatment plan.

  • I take time to understand each patient’s concerns, symptoms, history, and goals before discussing treatment options. Care is collaborative and individualized, with an emphasis on clear communication, thoughtful medication management, and practical next steps.

  • During an initial appointment, we will review current concerns, mental health history, medications, symptoms, and treatment goals. When medication is recommended, I discuss potential benefits, risks, side effects, and alternatives so patients can make informed decisions about their care.

  • I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood symptoms, behavioral challenges, trauma-related concerns, sleep issues, and life stressors. For children and teens, parent or guardian involvement is included as clinically appropriate.
